“BEST FRIED SEAFOOD IN THE GOLDEN ISLES! We have dined here for lunch many many times. The best deal is the CAPTAINS PLATTER for about $30, easily feeds 4 adults. Skip the salad & appetizers, way overpriced and very small portion. Service varies dramatically, and can be extremely slow, but the food is really good when it comes out. Resist the temptation to get just shrimp or scallops or a combo plate, and get the CAPTAINS PLATTER. Very light batter, not heavy at all, simply delicious. Also, dont order your seafood any way except FRIED. We messed up one time and ordered BROILED (i was on a diet) and the food had little flavor. The scallops are fresh BAY scallops, not DIVERS, but they are fresh and good. Platter comes with shrimp, fish fillet, scallops, oysters, deviled crab, hush puppies and CLAM STRIPS, which are yummy. includes 2 sides, we get baked potato and cheese grits. Bar serves light drinks but cold beer is great with the platter. BRING A NEWSPAPER OR BUY ONE AT THE DOOR in case you have slow service - trust me, its worth the wait.” – John Adams, 4 Stars

“Very good seafood. Not heavy breaded, but lightly. Very flavorful and they were very quick on your order. The staff was very friendly and courtesy. The Sweet tea was just right.
